Roxbury Treatment Center located in Shippensburg, Pa is looking for a
FULL-TIME RN Nurse Manager
to oversee the nursing functions on our acute psychiatric units and Substance Use Disorder unit.
Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for 40 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Job Role and Responsibilities
The Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in collaboration with the Medical Staff, DON, and other facility leaders.
Accountable for the 24‑hour delivery of care by developing, implementing and revising nursing care plans.
Participants in the admission process of new patients including collaborative work with the admission department and patient assessment processes.
Serves in rotation as Administrator on Call and makes sound decisions necessary to maintain the provision of quality patient care.
Monitors census and acuity 24 hours a day and assesses and revises staffing needs necessary to provide quality care.
Responsible for assisting the DON/ADON in evaluating, reviewing, designing and implementing hospital training events with respect to all RN/MHT staff required training.
Oversees and coordinates the completion of all patient care assignments.
Participates in Treatment Team meetings as needed.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in nursing management; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a psychiatric or behavioral healthcare setting is preferred. Experience in staff education and education concepts, practices and procedures and 24-hour shift staffing experience.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.
