$17.75 to $19.75/hr
Shift: Monday- Friday 6:30am-3:30pm, every 3rd Saturday 7am-11am
Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing following established practices.
Has direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and explaining procedures while drawing blood specimens skillfully and accurately.
Demonstrates leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Performs daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
Maintains a safe and professional environment, completing forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
Maintains required records and documentation.
Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
Job Requirements:
Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric expertise.
Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Medical training preferred; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Minimum of 6 months experience required; one or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
