Speech Language Pathologist – Part‑Time, Day Shift
Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for a part‑time position (8‑hour day shift). Providence is a 4‑time Magnet® designated hospital, recognized for nursing excellence and quality care.
Description The role involves evaluating patients of all ages for speech, language, swallowing, and oral‑motor disorders and applying therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation. The candidate will deliver care to a range of age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients of all ages for speech, language, swallowing, and oral‑motor disorders.
Apply a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech, language, swallowing, and oral‑motor disorders.
Demonstrate proficiency in delivering care to assigned age‑specific patient populations (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics).
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree – Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
California Fire and Life Safety Card – National Organization within 30 days of hire.
1 year of experience providing Speech and Language Services.
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical hospital experience.
1 year of experience for NICU: Clinical experience in any setting providing speech language pathology to infants, children, or adolescents or experience in an acute care hospital providing speech language pathology directly to infants, children or adolescents who have a CCS eligible medical condition. CCS paneled.
