Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: 720 E. Broad Street Columbus, OH
Type of Employment: Full-time
Schedule: Monday/Wednesday (8am‑7pm), Tuesday (8am‑1pm), Thursday (8am‑5pm), Friday (8am‑4pm)
Compensation: $24.00 – $40.00 hourly, based on experience
Incentives: $5,000 Sign‑on Bonus, $200 monthly tuition assistance
Overview Our NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top‑notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities
Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act.
Implement high‑quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, following the principals and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures.
Maintain positive interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
CPR certification.
