Position Summary RN performs initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions. Establishes a plan of care that is appropriate to identified problems and involves the patient according to their capabilities and desires. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
An active Arizona RN license or Compact license required.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required upon hire.
TNCC required within six months of hire.
Moderate and Deep Sedation, EKG Course, and NIHSS Stroke Scale within 30 days of hire.
Two years of experience in the Emergency Department preferred. One year of experience as a Paramedic; EMT or ED Tech combined with one year of RN experience will be considered.
