Position Details Supplemental Health Care is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to provide diagnostic ultrasound services in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure quality for diagnosis.
Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate summaries to physicians and alert them to urgent problems.
Prepare patients for procedures and educate them throughout the ultrasound exam.
Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility.
Qualifications
Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Associate or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
American Heart Association BLS certification and at least 2 years of recent relevant experience.
