Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN)
Direct the day‑to‑day functions of the nursing assistants and meet with assigned nursing staff, support personnel, in planning the shift’s services, programs and activities.
Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required; admit, transfer and discharge residents as needed; provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter‑departmental personnel and other facility departments to ensure nursing services and activities are adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
Monitor assigned personnel to ensure they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.
Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN)
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Current CPR certification (Preferred).
Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination (Religious and/or Health exemptions may be available for qualifying employees).
