Recreation Therapist (BA) Join the dedicated team at SandyPines Adolescent Residential Treatment Center, a leading facility providing comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents ages 5 to 17.

Responsibilities

Instruct residents in therapeutic recreation activities tailored to their physical and psychological needs.

Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Plan and facilitate artistic, expressive, and creative therapy groups in accordance with the master group schedule.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of group interventions and therapy outcomes.

Assist in summer camp scheduling and advance planning of group activities.

Qualifications

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) preferred; at least one year of experience in recreation or vocational therapy.

Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Recreation, or a related field preferred.

Experience working with children and adolescents highly desired.

Strong communication, organization, and customer‑service skills.

Detail oriented, capable of multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
