CERTIFIED OR SURGICAL TECHNICIAN SURGICAL SERVICES (FT VARIED) Position located in HENDERSON, Nevada. Patient Care Support. Salary range: USD $30.75/Hr. to USD $40.75/Hr.

About West Henderson Hospital West Henderson Hospital is our seventh acute care hospital in the Valley Health System. Located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters, the 150‑bed facility is equipped to care for patients with a variety of medical needs. Services include emergency care, cardiac care, neurology care, surgery, gastroenterology, advanced imaging, laboratory and respiratory services, and inpatient nursing.

Job Description Responsible for performing technical responsibilities relative to assisting operating surgeons with the instrumentation of surgical intervention.

Shift Full Time, Varied

Education High School Graduate or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a surgical technologist program accredited by a national accrediting organization or the US Public Health Service, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard.

License/Certification Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or per NRS 449.24185, sec. 1.(c). Must be engaged in the practice of surgical technology in a health care facility before January 1, 2018. Current BLS certification.

Other Participation in AORT encouraged. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.
