General Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated
Electrical Field Supervisor
with strong leadership abilities and deep knowledge of residential electrical systems. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations on job sites in the Charlotte, NC area, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met for single‑family residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in single‑family residential work and hold a Journeyman License.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise on‑site electrical teams, subcontractors, and apprentices on residential job sites.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
Interpret and execute electrical drawings, blueprints, and project documentation.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes, local building codes, and safety standards.
Conduct regular safety briefings and site inspections; maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to report on progress, workforce needs, and potential issues.
Provide technical guidance, hands‑on support, and mentorship to crew members.
Order and track materials and tools required to keep projects moving efficiently.
Minimum Education None
Minimum Years of Experience 4–6 years
Qualifications
Required License:
Valid Journeyman License
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of hands‑on residential electrical experience (single‑family homes) preferred
Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in the field
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
Knowledge of residential electrical code compliance and safety best practices
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
