Overview
Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) to join our community-based neurorehab team in Tucson, TX. This PRN role offers flexibility, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to provide real-life therapy outside institutional settings. Unique Opportunity
Provide therapy where life happens—homes, workplaces, schools, grocery stores, and the community. Treat adults with complex neurological injuries (TBI, CVA, and more). Flexible schedule you create. Pay per hour (not PPV or PPU). Co-treat and collaborate with an expert rehab team. Supportive leadership. Clinical autonomy and opportunities for growth. Responsibilities
Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and hold family conferences. Conduct discharge evaluations and make recommendations for home and community safety. Provide referral and education resources. Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, service recipients, and family members. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, care coordination, and enhanced patient outcomes. Qualifications
Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program. Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state of practice. Current CPR certification. Minimum one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist. Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred. Effective verbal and written communication. Ability to lift 50 pounds; lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures. Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods. Physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently. Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter. About Our Business
