As a

Construction Project Manager , you will provide end-to-end leadership across commercial real estate construction projects within our $3.5 billion portfolio of insured and owned properties. This role leads delivery of capex projects by working closely with our insurance claims and asset management teams. Your expertise, and complex coordination skills will ensure projects are executed ahead of schedule and under budget. The ideal candidate loves to value engineer projects and excels at communicating a sense of urgency to hit aggressive goals. Key Responsibilities

Manage

the construction of a variety of facilities

from entitlement through final delivery

Oversee

general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers

Lead

pre‑construction activities , including budgeting, scheduling, value engineering, and constructability reviews

Develop and manage

project schedules, budgets, and cost controls

Conduct regular

site visits

to monitor progress, safety, and quality

Review and approve

pay applications, change orders, and contracts

Ensure compliance with

local codes, zoning requirements, and safety regulations

Coordinate with internal teams including

development, acquisitions, and operations

Manage project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, and turnover to operations

Required Qualifications

5+ years of construction management experience

Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing

Proven ability to manage

multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and schedule management

Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)

Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of

steel buildings, CMU, tilt‑up, and climate‑controlled storage construction

OSHA certification

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
