Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring at least one year of experience and a WI or Compact RN license.
Responsibilities
Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital
Care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures
Shifts are 4x10 hours on days or evenings (7:00-17:00 or 12:30-23:00)
On-call required approximately 4-5 times per month with additional weekend call
Local candidates are accepted
Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for surgical patients
Must be prepared to respond to calls during scheduled on-call shifts
Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Active WI or Compact State RN license required
Minimum of one year PACU RN experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
First-time travelers will not be considered
