Overview

College/School/Unit: Dell Medical School Department: Psychiatry Responsibilities

Direct behavioral and mental health assessments, treatment planning, brief and long‑term interventions, and interdisciplinary team consultation across inpatient and outpatient settings. Inpatient clinical services in the NICU and Special Care Delivery Unit at Dell Children’s Medical Center, including health behavior assessments, dyadic interventions, interdisciplinary team meetings, and documentation. Outpatient clinical services at the Comprehensive Fetal Care Center, providing individual, group, couples/family services, brief mental health services, wellness promotion groups, and palliative behavioral health care via in‑person and telehealth modalities. Training, education, and program activities: supervise clinical health psychology postdoctoral fellows, provide didactics for learners, design and deliver educational sessions, and engage in quality improvement, program evaluation, and research activities as part of the CFCC/NICU psychosocial team. Qualifications

Doctoral degree from an APA or CPA accredited program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology. Completion of an APA or CPA accredited internship in psychology. Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical child and adolescent or pediatric psychology. Unrestricted license to practice psychology in the State of Texas or ability to obtain prior to appointment. Eligibility and commitment to pursue board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology. Eligible for faculty appointment at The University of Texas Dell Medical School. Preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience as a licensed psychologist providing clinical services via tele‑mental health. Experience working in public school systems and community outreach. Clinical teaching experience. Experience with infants, parents, and/or families in multidisciplinary team settings during pregnancy and post‑partum. Why Join Our Team
