Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring an active IA or compact license and BLS/ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
Work in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) of a hospital
Cares for post-surgical, critically ill adult patients
12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
Every other weekend scheduled
13-week contract assignment
Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill surgical patients in a team environment
Certification verification must be current and available upon consideration
COVID-19 vaccination card required for consideration
References and licensure verification will be part of candidate review
Local rates apply only in select states; candidates from other states considered travel
Requirements
Active IA or compact state RN license
Minimum of 1 year recent SICU or ICU RN experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, issued by the American Heart Association
Current TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred
