Electrical Estimator

to work in our

Apopka, FL

Position Summary You will provide detailed estimates and takeoffs for projects related to our primary focus of: Heavy Commercial, Industrial / Manufacturing & Multi‑Residential construction projects to include renovations, tenant build‑outs, and ground‑up construction.

Minimum 1‑3 years combined experience in Multi‑Residential / Commercial & Industrial / Manufacturing Electrical Estimating

Minimum 5 years in electrical field experience.

Knowledge in Accubid estimating software preferred.

Well versed in NEC Requirements.

Work hand in hand with the Vice President of Operations & Principal of Company.

Participate in contract negotiations.

Capable computer skills to include email use, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Accubid and file organization.

Experienced in Design Build, Design Assist, and layout of electrical systems.

Educated in the materials, means and methods of Commercial, Multi‑Residential & Industrial / Manufacturing Installations.

Strong communication skills and leadership qualities.

Time conscious (can be on time and efficient).

Demonstrated independence, flexibility, and teamwork.

Ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety procedures.

Ability to work well with others.

Physical Requirements This is primarily an office position and, as such, you must be able to sit up to six or more hours in an eight‑hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job.
