The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while embracing the company’s values focused on superior quality, safety, and teamwork. Responsibilities
Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized plans of care. Identify teaching needs and goals, collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Provide timely patient information for team conferences and ensure accurate documentation of assessments and interventions. Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, focusing on education and achieving quality outcomes. Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission. Ensure effective communication regarding changes in patient status to support continuity of care. Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel. Maintain personal and environmental safety in accordance with hospital policies. Contribute positively to the unit's functioning and participate in team-building activities. Monitor and manage supplies and equipment to ensure cost-effective care. Assume charge responsibility and identify own professional growth opportunities. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current BLS certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required. Previous experience with Select Medical preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
