We are seeking an experienced Production Lead to supervise our truss fabrication team, specializing in metal plate-connected wood roof and floor trusses. This hands‑on role ensures efficient production, quality control, and team safety in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily truss production operations, including cutting, assembly, and pressing.
Lead a team of 10-15 sawyers and fabricators, assigning tasks and providing training.
Monitor inventory, equipment maintenance, and workflow to meet deadlines.
Enforce safety protocols and quality standards per industry regulations.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize processes for efficiency.
Qualifications
3+ years in truss manufacturing or a similar woodworking/metal fabrication supervisory role.
Knowledge of truss design software (e.g., Alpine or Mitek) and machinery operation.
Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus.
Compensation $18 - $26 hourly
