A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a
Production Planner
to support daily operations by coordinating production schedules, material flow, and inventory accuracy. This role works cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and delivered on time.
What You’ll Do:
Create and maintain production schedules aligned with capacity, demand, and material availability
Coordinate raw material planning and finished goods movement across manufacturing and distribution operations
Monitor inventory levels and support cycle count activities to maintain accurate records
Adjust schedules as needed to respond to equipment downtime, supply constraints, or shifting priorities
Maintain accurate production data, routings, and bills of materials within planning systems
Communicate production plans and updates to operations, logistics, and customer-facing teams
Support short- and mid-term planning through forecasting and capacity reviews
Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field — or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
Experience working with ERP or MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing production setting
Clear communicator who collaborates well across departments
Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
