As a COTA on our therapy team, you’ll play a hands‑on role in supporting functional independence, enhancing mobility, and making meaningful improvements in the lives of older adults.
What You’ll Do
Provide compassionate, resident-focused occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed OT
Assist with treatment plans that improve daily living skills, strength, and safety
Document progress accurately and timely within regulatory and facility requirements
Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team (OT, PT, nursing, activities, social services, etc.)
Foster motivation, engagement, and encouragement during resident sessions
Promote a positive, supportive environment for residents and families
What We’re Looking For
Current
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
license
Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience in
long‑term care/skilled nursing
preferred but not required
Strong communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills
Passion for working with older adults and helping them thrive
