Overview The NYU Student Health Center's Counseling and Wellness Services announces the availability of five postdoctoral psychology fellowships (appointment period: September 1 - August 31). Our clinic offers training with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, case managers, and nutritionists. We provide brief psychotherapy and group psychotherapy for a diverse population of undergraduate and graduate students from across the US and the world, as well as crisis intervention in our Wellness Exchange walk‑in clinic. Postdocs also spend part of their time serving on one of three specialty clinical teams: Trauma, Eating Disorders, or Substance Use, all described in greater detail below. Opportunities may also be available for outreach events with the NYU community. Training includes: weekly seminars, supervision, staff meetings, and case presentations. Responsibilities
Required Education: Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology, or ABD (all but dissertation).
Required Experience: Completion of APA Approved pre‑doctoral internship.
Preferred Experience: Experience in college mental health; crisis intervention experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge and experience with assessment and treatment of serious mental illness.

Qualifications In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $77,000.00.
