We are seeking a dedicated
RN Staff Education/Infection Prevention Specialist
to lead clinical training efforts and ensure our infection control practices exceed regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and evaluate staff education programs to support clinical excellence and compliance.
Monitor and lead infection prevention and control initiatives in alignment with CDC, CMS, and state guidelines.
Collaborate with department leaders to assess training needs and deliver effective in-service education.
Conduct audits, analyze trends, and implement strategies to reduce infection risks.
Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing and support staff.
Qualifications
Current RN license (PA, in good standing).
Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) training preferred or willingness to complete upon hire.
Previous experience in staff education, training, or infection control in a healthcare setting.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
