What You’ll Do
Create individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans for each client.
Conduct individual, group, family and couple therapy sessions.
Take responsibility for all clinical needs, services, and aftercare for your client caseload.
Prevent, intervene and de‑escalate in events of a crisis.
Maintain impeccable documentation of client challenges, progress, relapse risk, and intervention.
Collaborate with the Clinical Director, treatment team and family for seamless coordination of care.
Model ethics, morality and recovery principles in every professional interaction—honesty, accountability, dignity and respect.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in psychology, counseling or related field required.
Valid state licensure/certification essential to practice in this role: LCSW-C (LCPC and LCADC).
Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.
Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality.
Where You’ll Work Avenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick is a 93‑bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. Newly remodeled, fresh and inviting, the expansive building brings all services under one roof and provides clients with a five‑star experience as they begin their recovery. Our unparalleled medical and clinical team is on call 24/7 to respond to every need, consistently delivering care in the most dignified and compassionate manner possible. The atmosphere—created by staff and clients alike—is one of acceptance, hope, and healing, greatly contributing to each client’s recovery.
