We are a growing, private, 134-bed psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing high-quality care for adults, geriatrics, and adolescents (ages 10‑17) with behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Our patients recover at our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Henderson, Nevada, located within 7 miles of Las Vegas Strip and close to Lake Mead. Responsibilities
Providing assessment, interventions, treatment planning and discharge planning, as well as providing individual, family and group therapy to further patient/family/group progress in treatment.
Facilitating substance abuse groups with the adolescent/adult populations. This position will allow the opportunity for employee to complete chemical dependency assessments, offer community resources, and family education to support our patients during their recovery.
Employing a variety of cognitive, behavioral and insight‑oriented modalities of treatment.
Serving as a member of the interdisciplinary team, supporting each unit’s treatment program, assuring the delivery of quality and consistently excellent treatment to patients and their families.
Qualifications Education : A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology from an accredited college or university.
Licensure : May be an NV licensed intern working towards licensure or fully licensed in CSW, LCSW, LPC, APC, MFT, etc.
Experience : Minimum One (1) year experience working as a therapist in Mental Health, preferably in an acute hospital setting or residential setting.
