Registered Nurse (RN)
Salary Range: $46–$47 per hour.

What You’ll Do
Ensure hospice patients are comfortable and forge compassionate, meaningful connections with the people in their lives.
Guide patients and families through the end‑of‑life journey, maintaining trust and prioritizing patient comfort.
Serve as a caregiver and hospice educator, making bedside care decisions autonomously to bring comfort.
Educate patients and loved ones about the palliative nature of hospice and the benefits of comfort‑focused care.
Where You’ll Work You will care for hospice patients at their homes, private residences, assisted living or skilled nursing facilities. Most VITAS nurses make 4‑6 visits each day and once a week meet with the interdisciplinary team at the local program office.
What’s Expected From You
RN license and at least two years of nursing experience.
Reliable transportation.

Patient‑centered focus, extending comfort and dignity to all people at the end of their life’s journey.
