Position Summary We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide in-home care for Medicare Part B patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, help patients improve daily living skills, functional independence, and safety, and provide education to patients and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Provide skilled interventions to improve patients' daily living skills, functional independence, and safety.

Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and fall prevention strategies.

Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with Medicare Part B guidelines.

Communicate effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist and the home health/therapy team.

Monitor patient response to therapy and report progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.

Maintain a safe and professional environment during home visits.

Qualifications

Active COTA license in the state of practice.

Experience in home health or outpatient therapy preferred.

Knowledge of Medicare Part B documentation and regulations.

Strong patient care, treatment implementation, and communication skills.

Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and report patient progress.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible, home-based schedule.

CPR and other relevant certifications as required.
