Base pay range: $38.00/hr – $43.00/hr. Weekly pay varies by shift, with differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends. Openings are available on all shifts, including every other weekend. Position

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – full‑time – Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, North Easton, MA. Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care under RN supervision to residents and supervise daily nursing activities of nursing assistants. Maintain current resident care plans for all residents under your care. Follow physician’s orders, render and/or assist with complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders. Transcribe physician’s orders promptly and accurately. Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness. Document comprehensive nursing notes. Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs. Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list. Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary. Administer medication according to procedure. Maintain safe control of all drugs for which you are responsible. Initiate emergency procedures as necessary. Demonstrate correct safety techniques. Respect facility equipment and avoid wasteful use of supplies. Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions. Promote positive resident and family relations. Comply with facility Privacy Practices Policies & Procedures, protecting residents’ health information. Continue growth and expand job knowledge. Demonstrate leadership skills. Other duties assigned by manager. Qualifications

Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program. CPR certified. Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state. Minimum one (1) year experience in a hospital, long‑term care facility or other related health care facility (preferable, new graduates welcome). Specific Requirements

Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions. Tactful interaction with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long‑term care. Leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non‑professional personnel. Planning, organizing, developing, implementing, and interpreting programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures necessary for providing quality care. Accurate and comprehensive assessment skills. Familiarity with drug actions and interactions. Knowledge of restorative nursing rehabilitation policies and appropriate utilization. Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and willingness to handle difficult residents. Willingness to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing nursing practices. Effective communication of emergency situations to appropriate personnel.
