Position Summary The Nurse Practitioner at Yoo Direct health is responsible for delivering excellent patient care under the supervision of a collaborating physician. The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for integrative and functional medicine with a focus in clinical procedures and hormone therapy as well as gut health, thyroid optimization, weight loss and peptide therapy. Daily Duties include patient consultations, charting/recording patient visit notes and medical histories, patient care follow-up, creating and following up with treatment plans, and performing clinical procedures. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Initial patient consultations Recording/charting patient visit notes and medical histories Diagnosing health issues Creating and following up on patient treatment plans Ordering and reviewing lab work Identifying changes in patient health and modifying treatment plans as needed Performing clinical procedures to include injections as well as subcutaneous pellet implantations Prescribing and following up with medications and peptides Keeping up with portal communication with patients and staff Adapting to clinical changes in protocols or new services
Qualifications
Graduate degree from an accredited nursing school Active license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Indiana Strong communication skills, written and verbal, required Strong organizational skills required 3+ years of clinical work experience (Preferred) Strong interest in Integrative and Functional Medicine (Preferred) Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Thrives in a fast-paced working environment Ability to function well within a team Experience with EMR, Pubmed, and utilizing social media Willing to complete required six month training with Yoo Direct Health provider(s)
Hours & Schedule
Full time – Salary One Saturday a month, 7a–10a
