The role supports the Mid Cities (Bedford, Keller, Grapevine) locations for Texas Oncology, the largest community oncology provider in the country. Texas Oncology treats half of all Texans diagnosed with cancer annually.

Job Description Under minimal supervision, the RN provides professional nursing care for patients, adhering to company and national standards. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team on assessment and therapeutic management, supports the US Oncology Compliance Program, and adheres to the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities
Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material.
Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision.
Administer all medications/blood products using correct medication, dosage, route, time and technique.
Ensure pre‑authorization and consent forms are obtained prior to therapy administration.
Facilitate dose modification by assessing labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting physician regarding dosage modifications and symptom management.
Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports and maintain central line catheter devices.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
Minimum 0–3 years of RN experience.
Entry, mid or senior level candidate acceptable.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Working Conditions Work environment includes possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other oncology clinic hazards. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
Physical Requirements Full range of motion, ability to handle and lift patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range required.
