Full-time Shift: Day Shift Status: Full Time Will require some travel to outreach locations - Will consider applicants for Petoskey area to work out of the Petosky device office. May travel to Gaylord Indian River and Charlevoix. Some remote work as well. Share your ideas and help shape the way we work through improvement huddles, employee surveys, and town hall meetings A Day inthe Life Function as a subjectmatter expert and champion of patient care, under the supervisionof our electrophysiologists, for our cardiac device patients by providing thorough pacemaker, AICD interrogation and reprogramming. Prepares patient for and assists with examinations. Makes changes tothe settings of the device per physician direction. Recognizes abnormalities, malfunctions and End of Service indicators; notifies cardiologist and assists in scheduling patients follow up or replacement as indicated. What’s Required Cardiac Device Specialist Certification required within 5 years of hire. Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3 years' experience in cardiac telemetry, electrocardiogram tech, monitor tech or device monitoring Minimum of 1 year experience in cardiac services required; 1 year of cardiac device experience preferred.
