Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities
Performs all aspects of respiratory care including diagnostic tests of the cardio-pulmonary system. Performs quality control on respiratory care equipment, including I-STAT blood gas analyzers. Qualifications
Education:
Required: Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program. Certifications:
Required: RCP or equivalent state licensure; CRT, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Preferred: RRT. Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If offered this position and vaccination is required, you will need to show proof of full vaccination or obtain a religious or medical exemption prior to start date. If you receive an exemption, you will submit to regular testing as required by law.
