We seek an Adjunct Nursing Faculty who can facilitate learning, assess students, and contribute to curriculum development while upholding our mission of inspiring excellence, compassion, accountability, and inclusivity.
Position Overview
Adjunct Nursing faculty are responsible for facilitating learning and learner development, using assessment and evaluation strategies, participating in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation, evaluating student learning and program outcomes, and functioning within the educational environment in accordance with state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities
Create an environment that facilitates learning and achieving desired student outcomes. Implement appropriate teaching strategies based on learner needs and content. Use varied assessment methods across all learning domains. Analyze assessment data to inform continuous course improvement. Apply curriculum aligned with clearly articulated program student learning outcomes. Design and implement program assessments that support quality improvement. Participate in professional development to enhance faculty effectiveness. Maintain up‑to‑date practice knowledge in relevant nursing areas. Demonstrate commitment to the college’s mission and values. Position Requirements
Current, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state with no encumbrances. Minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. At least 2 years of clinical experience as an RN. Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment
Clinical instruction may involve needle sticks, blood or bodily fluid exposure, and other RN hazards. The role requires mental activities such as reading, planning, and decision making. Classroom/workplace demands are largely sedentary with occasional lifting up to 10 lbs. Clinical duties may include lifting, kneeling, stooping, and other patient‑care activities. The position requires regular attendance, evenings or weekends, and travel to clinical sites. Benefits (subject to eligibility by location)
