Requirements
Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology required.
At least 1 year experience in the delivery of psychological services or a CACD (Certified Addiction Counselor Diplomat) preferred.
Description Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career while working with an extraordinary team? At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking a Fee for Service Mental Health Outpatient Therapist to join our Adult Behavioral Health team in Coal Township, PA.
Schedule: Fee for Service; Daytime hours, Monday‑Friday
Earn $28 - $40 per hour based on experience/certification.
Responsibilities
Provide intake services by evaluating incoming referrals to determine the appropriate treatment intervention.
Prepare diagnostic assessments, case histories and related correspondence as per Merakey, DPW and DOH policies and regulations.
Develop Treatment Plans: develop a preliminary treatment plan based on client’s presenting problem, to be completed by the second counseling session; a Master Treatment plan by the fourth session; review and revise treatment plans every 60 days with client, therapist, supervisor and physician.
Provide ongoing therapy and supportive counseling services to assigned caseload; conduct client case consults with supervisor or other clinical staff at least once every 90 days for D&A clients in the first year, then annually.
