Travel Cath Lab Technologist – $2,515 per week
The Travel Cath Lab Technologist provides technical assistance in cardiac catheterization labs, supporting cardiologists during invasive procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina | Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 12 hours (36 hours per week) | Travel benefits: housing allowance, health insurance, direct deposit.
Responsibilities
Assist cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and anticipating catheter and wire inventory.
Provide direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Communicate with patients, families, and physicians; address the physical, general, and psychosocial needs of the patient.
Work under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
Assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner; maintain an environment of excellence.
Promote and maintain a safe work environment; incorporate national patient safety initiatives.
Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
Qualifications
Current license in good standing.
Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
Two years of cath lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
Proficient in technical assistance and patient communication.
