JOB SUMMARY The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiology provides and coordinates professional nursing care for patients in a clinic setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, obtaining vital signs, documenting care, and assisting providers during examinations and procedures. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, manages complex patient needs, and escalates concerns as appropriate. Works with minimal supervision, provides guidance to others, and applies strong clinical knowledge to support high‑quality patient care.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately and timely.
Use the nursing process to deliver personalized, age‑appropriate care—addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Implement and evaluate care interventions, ensuring collaboration and appropriate delegation among the care team.
Partner with providers and other team members to coordinate care and achieve positive outcomes.
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care to promote long‑term wellness.
Build trusting relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and compassionate support.
Demonstrate strong critical thinking, time management, and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced clinic setting.
Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain the highest standards of clinical practice.
Practice accountability and fiscal responsibility in all aspects of patient care.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment that reflects pride in our work and care for our patients.
Willingly assist in other clinic locations when needed to support team coverage and patient care continuity.
Uphold the organization’s Corporate Compliance Program, Code of Conduct, and all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure:
Current, unrestricted Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience:
Prior experience in an ambulatory or clinic setting preferred.
