Job Title: Physical Therapist
Physical Therapist Responsibilities & Duties
Evaluate and assess patients' conditions to develop an individualized treatment plan.
Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote healing.
Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support and encouragement.
Educate patients and their families about the goals and benefits of physical therapy, as well as the importance of at‑home exercises and self‑care.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.
Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and timely for record‑keeping and insurance purposes.
Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies by participating in continuing education opportunities.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Physical Therapist Qualifications & Skills
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
Specialization certifications in areas such as orthopedics, sports, neurology, or geriatrics
Experience with patient case management software
Proficiency in multiple languages for diverse patient interaction
Previous experience in a clinical setting or specific healthcare environment
Advanced manual therapy skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist.
Proven experience in assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics relating to human movement and function.
Excellent manual therapy skills, including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and therapeutic exercise prescription.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills for accurate documentation and record‑keeping.
