Job Description Oracle’s Global Physical Security ( GPS ) Systems Team is responsible for securing the corporation’s global datacenter and facility footprint through advanced Physical Access and Identity Management ( PIAM ) technologies. We are seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager – Biometrics.
The Technical Program Manager – Biometrics leads the strategic direction, roadmap, and overall lifecycle management for Oracle’s global biometric programs. This critical role ensures all biometric technologies deployed at Oracle sites are robust, secure, scalable, and fully aligned with evolving business, security, and regulatory demands. The Program Manager will drive cross-functional collaboration to integrate emerging biometric technologies, streamline operations, and enhance compliance with global privacy and security standards.
The ideal candidate possesses deep experience with enterprise-grade biometric solutions, a passion for operational excellence and automation, and a proven record of delivering secure, resilient biometric infrastructures in large-scale, complex environments.
You will own the end-to-end technology vision, from deployment through maintenance, upgrades, and modernization, ensuring the platform’s ongoing alignment with Oracle’s risk posture and growth strategies.
Responsibilities SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY , IMPACT OF DECISIONS , AND DEGREE OF SUPERVISION As the global owner for biometric systems, you will set strategic objectives, lead major integrations, and guide all operational aspects of biometric program management for Oracle. Your autonomy to drive innovation, automation, and best practices directly impacts the security, compliance, and investigatory capabilities of Oracle’s global estate. Regular reporting to senior leadership is expected alongside proactive engagement across technical and business teams.
Lead global biometric system planning, deployment, upgrades, and technical innovation.
Own policy and process standardization, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle management for all biometric assets.
Resolve escalated technical and operational issues and deliver sustainable improvements through data-driven analysis.
Outstanding stakeholder management, cross-team collaboration, and project leadership skills in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Strong documentation, training, and communication skills for all organizational levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, communicate, and execute a comprehensive multi-year roadmap for biometric systems, supporting Oracle’s global security and compliance objectives.
Direct cross-functional implementation and integration efforts, ensuring biometric platforms scale reliably with business demand and technology change.
Identify, pilot, and deploy automation tools to streamline user enrollment, identity management, incident management, reporting, and compliance functions.
Oversee vendor relationships, SLAs, performance reviews, and technology selection.
Ensure biometric platform and operations maintain the highest standards for privacy and legal compliance in all jurisdictions.
Own the documentation, training, and communication of biometric-related processes, standards, and incident response plans.
Analyze biometric system performance data, identify risks, and deliver continual improvements focused on reliability, cost-efficiency, and security.
Serve as the executive escalation point for biometric incidents, privacy queries, and cross-team issues.
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, IT, Security, or related technical discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large-scale, enterprise biometric platforms (e.g., fingerprint, facial recognition, iris, or similar) including design, deployment, and lifecycle optimization.
Demonstrated expertise integrating biometric solutions into physical security, access control, and identity management platforms, using modern API , cloud, or hybrid architectures.
Deep knowledge of privacy, security, and compliance requirements affecting biometric systems globally ( GDPR , CCPA , BIPA , SOC 2, PCI DSS , ISO 27001, etc.) and experience ensuring systems are audit-ready.
Proven ability to implement automation and workflow efficiency for biometric system monitoring, alerting, retention management, and incident response, leveraging scripting, RPA , or orchestration tools.
Experience managing technical vendors, contracts, SLAs, and negotiating performance improvements.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
