Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited program
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
1+ years experience in a behavioral health setting (inpatient or outpatient)
Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, side effects, and proper administration protocols
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ANA ethical standards
Responsibilities
Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with a multidisciplinary team
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for efficacy and side effects
Provide emotional and psychological support using evidence‑based therapeutic communication techniques
Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on mental health and well‑being
Collaborate with other professionals for holistic patient care, discharge planning, and after‑care support
