Practice Overview The Locust Pediatric Care Group has a 4-pediatrician, 3-nurse practitioner team, plus registered dietician and social worker. The practice serves a medically complex population, including foster care patients and underserved patients, with a large immigrant and refugee community. The office follows EPIC EHR and is PCMH-certified, emphasizing patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide primary care for infants, children, and teens in a hospital-based outpatient setting.
Manage medically complex children, foster care patients, and underserved patients.
Participate in shared Saturday office hours and after-hours call—physician calls are screened by nurse triage phone line, handling >90% of calls.
