As RN Team Lead in the Family Medicine Department at South Pointe, you will coordinate and oversee daily operations, workflows, delivery of care and caregiver education as needed. Some of your responsibilities will include direct patient support, while others are more clerical and administrative in nature. Caregiver Schedule Caregiver works 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and 1 Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm every 6–8 weeks.
Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.
Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.
Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
Assist in preparing department specific education.
Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Two years of recent RN experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience
Physical Requirements
Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination.
Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
May require some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
Light work: exerting up to 20 lb of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lb frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (negligible if activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time).
Light work is defined as walking or standing to a significant degree, or sitting most of the time but involving pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; or a production rate pace with constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight is negligible.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range Minimum hourly: $31.50 Maximum hourly: $49.90
