About the Role Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer Full Time Clinician opportunities for Bachelor's Level Clinicians in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Lowell, MA. Our Partial Hospitalization Programs are group-based and short-term for individuals requiring a higher level of care. Our teams work to promote a group that is therapeutic, safe, and supportive. The Partial Hospitalization (PHP) BA Clinician delivers direct services to clients, and may provide individual, group, family, or other authorized psychoeducational and case management services within the PHP program. Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning; and ensures that any services delivered are within the scope of training, experience and general level of competence.

Essential Responsibilities
Acts as a liaison for children, parents and MA level clinicians regarding behavior
Takes an active role in leading check-in, check-out, psychoeducation and lunch for all children in the program
Oversees that all proper recreational activities are taking place throughout the program
Can assist with obtaining insurance authorizations and case management services
Monitors child and adolescent groups and quiet room and ensure client safety
Includes some program organizational functions imperative to provide good clinical care
Assists in clean up of therapy spaces
Accepts supervision and attends regularly scheduled team or supervision meetings
Requires minimal supervision regarding use of time and ability to prioritize work assignments
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the agency, community and referral sources
Oversees that all recreational supplies are ordered and continuously available for program use

Qualifications
2 years experience working with mental health and SUD clients required
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related program, from an accredited college or University
Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families
Must be proficient with written and verbal communication skills. Must have knowledge of community-based and state agencies with regard to behavioral health services.
Must be comfortable with a fast pace work environment and handling clients in crisis
Nonjudgmental ability to foster self‑sufficiency using problem‑solving and practical skills
Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight
Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds
Good time management skills necessary to maintain timely record keeping
Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre‑employment documentation
