Requirements
Active RN license in the practicing state.
BLS certification required; chemotherapy or oncology certification preferred.
Previous experience in infusion nursing or oncology care preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary oncology team.
Responsibilities
Prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV medications according to protocols.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage side effects appropriately.
Assess patient condition, including vital signs and lab results, before and during treatment.
Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans, side effect management, and follow‑up care.
Document treatments, patient responses, and any complications accurately.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety standards, and oncology regulations.
