Location:
1199 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ 07052 Schedule:
Full‑Time, Sunday – Thursday (7:15 AM – 3:15 PM); weekend/holiday shift 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Compensation:
$83,000 – $111,707.06 per year (based on experience)
Description Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.
As an OT, you will evaluate assigned patients, develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patients’ needs and physician direction. You will delegate and direct discipline‑specific therapy services, design functional treatment programs to facilitate return to community activities, educate patients, families, co‑workers, and students, and perform other professional duties associated with patient care.
Responsibilities
Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs.
Participate in discharge planning, including placement, patient and family education, and adaptive equipment.
Delegate and direct discipline‑specific therapy services for assigned patients.
Design functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities.
Educate patients, families, co‑workers, and students.
Perform other professional duties related to patient care and discipline‑specific therapy services.
Minimum Requirements
Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Certified BLS.
