Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a new full‑time Psychologist position.
This is a key role with our organization’s forensic mental health program which serves adults who are justice‑involved and experiencing mental illness.
The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need so that they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.
The program is designed to facilitate early access to services, eliminate barriers to treatment, and efficiently restore people to competency.
Services are provided to individuals who are detained at several county jails throughout California.
Responsibilities
Assess clients
Conduct competency evaluations
Write summary reports
Collaborate with team members
Participate in meetings and case conferences
Benefits
Salary range between $110,000 and $130,000 (depending on experience)

This is a hybrid position which will allow you to work primarily from your home office with occasional requirements to work at various county jails.
Qualifications
Licensed professionally in California as a Psychologist.
Training in Forensic Psychology and/or experience evaluating individuals for competency is helpful but not required.
