Essential Duties

Assessment, Coordination & Discharge Planning

Meet with patients, orient them, explain goals, initiate contact with families and providers, develop care plan, coordinate discharge.

Document all assessment, treatment and discharge activities.

Individual and Family Therapy Services

Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy per program schedule.

Document therapy sessions in the medical record per program requirements.

Seek clinical supervision and support when complications arise.

Facilitate specialized interventions when needed.

Specialized Therapy Services

Provide specialized therapy services including Family, Equine, Art, EMDR, and SE.

Group Therapy / Education

Assist in compiling materials for group and educational sessions.

Support program schedule by conducting assigned components and maintaining group schedule.

Complete syllabus or lesson plan for didactic groups and document as required.

Participate in program development and performance improvement measures in social services.

Treatment Team Member

Active member of the multidisciplinary treatment.

Communicate clinical concerns and treatment recommendations with team.

Performance Improvement

Actively participate in performance improvement activities per facility licensure and accreditation requirements.

On-Call Services

May provide on‑call services as requested/assigned.

Other

Professional communication with patients, families, and team members.

Effective response to customer requests; clear, clinical communication in English both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health or related field

State licensed. Doctorate holders must apply for a Psychologist license upon hire.

CPR & First Aid Certified

CPI Certified

Valid Driver's License and Driver Safety Training

Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health field preferred

Preference for experience working with specialty services (Trauma, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders) within a managed care environment

Preference for two years experience providing Family Therapy, EMDR, sex addiction or other trauma specialist if assigned to conduct specialized therapy
