Position Overview
Postdoctoral Fellow (1 position) and Research Assistant (1 position) at the Institute of Molecular Biology, Academia Sinica.
Responsibilities & Scope The research focus is on post‑transcriptional gene regulation using genomics and molecular biology. Projects will investigate RNA splicing, translation, and stability. The work will use human cell lines as the primary model system and combine computational biology, molecular biology, and next‑generation sequencing techniques to understand how sequence variations contribute to post‑transcriptional regulation in disease contexts.
Qualifications
Background in molecular biology and/or biochemistry.
Interdisciplinary research interest, especially in genomics and molecular biology.
Working Conditions
Operating hours are based on Academia Sinica rules.
Workplace: Institute of Molecular Biology, Academia Sinica.
Salary ranges (determined by experience and performance):
Postdoctoral Fellow: > NTD$64,711/mo.
Research Assistant (Master’s degree): > NTD$44,968/mo.
Research Assistant (Bachelor’s degree): > NTD$38,388/mo.
