Pay Rate:
$28/hour
Overview As a Laboratory Technician, you'll conduct routine and non-routine analyses on product samples, make quality decisions, and communicate results across departments while operating and maintaining lab equipment, supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory analyses on product samples to ensure quality standards are met.
Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
Accurately enter testing data and make accept/reject decisions based on pre-established specifications.
Communicate laboratory results and feedback to managers and other departments as needed.
Operate basic lab equipment including balance, micropipettes, desiccators, burettes, and pH meters.
Operate and troubleshoot intermediate and advanced instruments including UV/Vis spectrophotometer, auto-titrator, GC, ICP, TOC analyzer.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with 1+ years of professional laboratory experience OR Associates degree in Chemistry with 2+ years of professional laboratory experience.
Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation by working shift work and overtime, including graveyard shift and a rotating shift schedule.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on laboratory equipment.
