Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong ortho and robotics experience, holding a SD or compact RN license, for a circulating role on 10-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
Work in an acute care setting as an OR Circulating RN
Primary focus on orthopedic cases including total joints, MAKO robotics, arthroscopy, spine, foot and ankle, hand, and ORIF, with some general, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases
11 OR suites and 1 GI suite with 30-50 cases per day
Uses MAKO robotic system and Epic EMR
Shift is 10-hour days with call requirements
No weekend or floating requirements
Scrubs provided in ceil blue
Position focuses on circulating duties for a primarily orthopedic case load with occasional general, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases
Exposure to advanced robotics and orthopedic procedures
Returning employees must not have worked for any Sanford Health location within the last 6 months
All clinicians must badge in and out for each shift
Local candidates within 80 miles may be accepted at a reduced rate
8 hours of orientation provided
Requirements
Active SD or compact RN license required
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 3 years recent circulating RN experience in the OR
Strong orthopedic experience and proficiency in total joints and arthroscopy required
MAKO robotics experience highly preferred
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
