Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Float Pool RN with a KS or compact license and AHA BLS certification to work in a Level 1 Trauma, Chest Pain, and Stroke Center environment.
Responsibilities
Float between Med/Surg floors at a hospital including Level 1 Trauma, Chest Pain Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center units
Work as part of the Float Pool staff with the possibility of floating to secondary campuses
Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
Must be willing to float across Med/Surg units and between campuses as assigned
Candidates with MOAB De‑Escalation Training and NIH Certification are preferred
No minimum years of experience required
COVID-19 vaccination is not required
Local candidates are accepted but will be subject to a reduced rate based on the facility's radius rule
Requirements
Active KS or compact RN license required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Primary source license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to start
US Social Security Number and a US address required
Two professional references are required
Copy of valid Driver’s License must be provided
