This position is for a travel nurse specializing in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures, providing perioperative patient care during open heart surgeries. Type:
Travel. Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for surgical patients before, during, and after open heart procedures. Act as patient educator, circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse. Circulating OR nurses function within the operating suite but outside the sterile field; Scrub OR nurses prepare instruments and equipment within the sterile field. Qualifications: At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting. Active RN License. Degree from an accredited nursing program.
